I recently dined at Papas and had a fantastic experience! I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, while my friend opted for a burger, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, offering great value for the reasonable prices. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Communication was effortless, as the 2 lovely ladies spoke English. Overall, Papas offers tasty food, big portions, and excellent service. I highly recommend it for a satisfying and budget-friendly meal!

After noticing the numerous positive reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a try, and we were very pleased with our experience. The appetizers were delicious, including the good sausages and Caesar salad. The steaks were amazing; the sirloin was tender and flavorful. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant!

I recently dined at Papa’s BBQ Grill and couldn't resist trying their chicken schnitzel. It was a culinary delight! The schnitzel was perfectly golden brown, crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy on the inside. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors, enhanced by a squeeze of fresh lime, which added a refreshing zest. The French fries that accompanied the dish were equally impressive—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The presentation was inviting, and the portion size was generous. Overall, it was a thoroughly satisfying meal that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Papa’s BBQ Grill.

I’m a Canadian and have family in Ha long bay. My partner had read the high reviews and wanted to go in early October. We were visiting for 3 weeks and unfortunately did not go until our last night which we deeply regret. The food is absolutely amazing! It is a wonderful break from Vietnamese food when you want to truly eat something western. We were lucky to have the option of the Oktoberfest menu. Our first night we shared the Chicken schnitzel, beef burger, fries, scallops and the bacon pizza. The schnitzel was soooo big! It’s best to share so you can try other things on the menu. It was so tender and seasoned. The fries were crisp and they had actual ketchup. My son devoured the bacon pizza including the crust. It was very delicious and something you should order with every meal. The scallops were cooked well and came with a mango sauce. We had some German beers, including the large stein. The meal was so good, we came back the next afternoon before our flight home. I highly recommend this place for anyone who misses western food while in Asia. The menu is extensive and the beers on tap/available German beers are refreshing. We can’t wait to come back when we visit again to try more things on the menu, including the steak and the ribs!

💙 A popular restaurant as it is one of the very few proper Western options in the area. Even though it’s a German restaurant, their menu consists of pizzas, burgers, Vietnamese food and more…. 🥨 I got a few dishes and the portions were all very big: + White sausages tasted good, the pretzel was soft and fresh. + Schnitzel was HUGE. It was slightly tough imo but overall still very decent. + Mocktail was way too sweet. 🏡 Simple and laidback atmosphere. Nice and attentive service.
