Thank you for making it so much easier to be plant based! (Also gluten free she says!!) So flavorful! Delicious! I tried the vegan pulled pork sandwich plate with greens and vegan mac and cheese- yummy. Also the three tacos with beans and rice. Rice was mushy. Otherwise, just WOW. Had no idea vegan tacos can taste this great. Overall, the seasoning/saltiness is on the heavier side, but I personally enjoyed them all. Sweet potato pie was also moist creamy yumminess. Definitely will be back.

As soon as I landed in Portland I looked up vegan restaurants + CoKeia’s Kitchen popped up. There were some great reviews so I decided to head straight there! I had no idea it was in food truck park, and I was pleasantly surprised! (Lots of seating though I did takeaway.) Nikiea, the owner and chef, is the loveliest human! I explained to her that I had a training I was in town for and had to bring lunch the next few days, so she told me what food options would work great to bring in a Thermos to reheat. While she prepared the food we had a great conversation, she provided small business advice while prepping what would be the most amazing meals!!! Her gumbo over rice was outstanding, and that was lunch for two days. The huge portion of lasagna, filled with vegetables, came with a hefty side salad. She included the perfect fried okra, a large wedge of toasted French bread, and I ordered a thick slice of the best sweet potato pie. All of the food she made for me that night lasted me through 2 lunches and 2+ dinners, and it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely return while in Portland, and can’t thank her enough for the wonderful conversation along with her fantastic, healthy, homemade vegan food.

Listen up whether you’re vegan or not just try it. I promise you won’t regret it. The food was delicious, the portions were enough to put you in a food coma at least two times! And you get to meet CoKiea herself. We came straight from pdx to eat there packed up the half we couldn’t finish and then ordered more food to go! We recommend the lasagna, pulled Jack fruit, greens, the gumbo, fried okra and sweet potato pie, You Name it! 😋

On a spontaneous date night, I decided to check out Rose city food carts. When we got there we found CoKiea’s Kitchen and I was amazed at her ratings so decided to give it a try. Yes. Yes it all!!! She has such a zest for life (and obviously cooking) that immediately drew us in. She’s making everything from scratch and you could taste the labor of love in every bite. We got the lasagna which was ✨😍🤩 incredible. Huge portion that my boyfriend and I split that came with a salad/tasty dressing and delish garlic bread. (We went around 6:30pm and this was her last slice so be sure to get there earlier in the night!!) We also got a slice of the sweet potato pie and the peach cobbler because I couldn’t choose - and it’s better to have two desserts anyway 😝. They were amazing. Beyond thankful to have found such soul comforting food that’s dairy free but doesn’t taste it. We’ll certainly be back for more soon!!
