Really enjoyed Franchia. The menu is extensive and delicious and appreciated that everything was vegan. The tteokbokki was delicious as were the japchae dumplings. The ambiance was nice and I liked how the tea was served with extra hot water. Note that policy is to spend $25 a person which easily accommodates a main and one of their many drinks/teas.

I’ve walked past this restaurant for years heading to Grand Central (it’s very close). I finally decided to check it out. The atmosphere is cozy zen and Manhattan chic. The food was absolutely delicious and we were treated very well. I’m trying to figure out when I can revisit…. May hop on MNR pick up food and come back home to enjoy it. What I enjoyed most was that although it’s vegan, everything was seasoned and the fresh ingredients stood out. Each dish was its own experience.

Terrific experience! Found this place through google search on our hunt for vegan takeout dinner and it didnt disappoint. 🥡 Fried rice was the best Ive had, our baby loved it too! Husband enjoyed ginger duck. Strongly recommend!

Warm cozy place. I loved their ambiance. We had not made reservations but since we reached at 4 pm we got a table. Otherwise, it felt like it was busy even on the weekdays. We ordered sushi - a delicious volcano roll. The second was a rainbow roll which was ok. Another appetizer we ordered was fried calamari- that was good. For the main course, we order basil noodles - yum! Spicy franchia noodles - good. Soy chicken sizzler on a hot stone plate - too good. For drinks, we ordered a Ube latte - so good!! & Thai iced tea - it was ok. All in all great experience!!

Had an amazing meal at Franchia while in New York on business. I had the mapo tofu and it was one of the best dishes I think I’ve ever eaten. Great atmosphere and attentive, friendly (but unobtrusive) service. This feels like a bit of a hidden gem and well worth seeking out. Highly, highly recommended.
