An incredible vegan hidden gem. Nestled a few levels above the busy street is a cozy haven. We were seated by the windows in a booth and enjoyed being able to look out above treetops and have lovey natural light. The menu is EXTENSIVE. It was hard to choose because there were so many options that sounded good! All of the food was delicious, especially the Peking duck! We also enjoyed watching the flower unfold in our double happiness tea. Service was very warm and friendly.

I’ve been here a few times on the weekend for their All-You-Can-Eat hotpot, and it's usually pretty good. But when I went during the week, it wasn't the same. The veggie, tofu, and sauce stations were mostly empty and looked like they'd been sitting out for a while. The dry chili powder was clumped up, and you had to really work to get some out. The service was also pretty hands-off; the waitress didn’t check on us much and just told us to go upstairs to pay, which was fine. Normally, $33 feels worth it, but this time it just wasn’t.

Delicious food and great service. The place was a bit hard to find but luckily one of my friends brought me here before so I came with my family this time. I love meat and would 100% eat this everyday cause it’s THAT GOOD. Good value for 5 people ($228.90). Highly recommended: 🟢Sweet & Sour Vegetarian Pork 🟢Assortment of Three Appetizers (Deep-Fried Shredded Black Shiitake Mushroom with Sweet & Sour Sauce, Wheat Gluten Stewed with Brown Sauce and Crispy Vegetarian Goose)

Delicious vegan Chinese food on Swanston St. This place is a hidden gem for vegans in Melbourne. So many yummy Chinese vegan dishes including soups, rice dishes, mock meats, desserts etc. Everything I’ve tried so far has been good, but my favourite is sweet and sour vegan pork. It’s so delicious and my non-vegan friends love it too. I also like the veggie shark fin soup and lemon chicken, but the lemon chicken sauce is a little too sweet for my tastes. Negatives: This place is pretty hard to find and signage outside the front is poor. You need to go up the creaky elevator to the third floor. You should book in advance if coming here for dinner because it gets pretty busy.

Great vegan place in the heart of Melbourne. It’s a bit hidden from the noisy street inside a building. Hotpot is on a different level than the main restaurant. The food we tried was fantastic! I really enjoyed the dumpling soup. My friend had the Shanghai style fried noodles. The spring rolls were good, too (but I’ve had better). Portion size was good and prices as well. I went with a non-vegan friend and she loved it as well. We went early but the place did get packed shortly after. So I suggest you make a reservation if you want to go during peak times.
