Excellent vegetarian restaurant with plenty of vegan options, one of the best I’ve tried. The dishes were well thought out, they have paid a lot of attention to the flavour and particularly to the texture of each dish using whole ingredients (rather than ultra processed ones), this puts it on top of my list. The serving size and price is also very good, given its location and quality. I am not vegetarian myself but would definitely come back , and not just for times I’ll be coming with vegetarian friends —it’s an excellent restaurant, full stop. Will definitely recommend it to veg and non-veg friends alike.

I love that there are so many nice vegan friendly restaurants here in Barcelona, and Teresa Carles is one of those spots. I previously ate at their sister restaurant Flax & Kale and found that experience to overshadow my time at Teresa Carles. I was definitely familiar with many of the overlapping menu items and decided to go with their rotating lunch special for that day's meal. I started with their gazpacho which was flavorful and a nice treat on a hot summer day. Afterwards I received my vegan kebab which I found a bit underwhelming. The pita felt too soft and there wasn't much of the actual soy meat they used compared to the condiments. It felt more like a TVP crumble on top of soft bread. I did enjoy the vegan pudding dessert to end the meal however. Since I was leaving on a flight, I did end up ordering one of their veggie burgers and fries to go, and I found that to be much tastier than the kebab that I had at the restaurant. Despite the 'okay' lunch, I still enjoyed the experience and am glad there's an extensive vegan scene here in the city.

Great concept: you choose a main, starter or dessert from a list that changes every week, depending on the seasonal vegetables. The prices are extremely reasonable too for barcelona. All is vegetarian too. The food that I had was absolutely delicious. The interior is very gorgeous too. Thank you so much!

Wow I’ve lived here for 13 years and heard about this place many times (I’m vegetarian) and never been ! So I had alot of family over from the UK and needed a big restaurant to cater for a large group of people.. from the staff to the extensive menu it was a delight! Being vegetarian in BCN has always been a challenge so it was lovely to have so much choice & interesting combinations.. I had the mango and avocado starter and meatballs main… I knocked a ‘star’ off because the meatballs were a little hard and I’ve had very very similar ones at the local Aldi! Sorry TC but they were identical ! The pudding (French toast ) was the die for … amazing Other then that a great experience, I will be back

It was the worst experience ever. There is nothing Spanish about this restaurant. The worst vegetarian food. Paella is nothing but a khichadi in a Latin version and very worst in taste. Veggie nuggets are pre made, they just. Microwave it and serve so it tastes too bad. Not even single item we enjoyed and price is sky high. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Ambience is too dark that we can barely see each other.
