The atmosphere is colourful and vibrant. Exceptional customer service. I had their Jerk Bowl and lentil soup which was so delicious and full of life. Their food is truly made with love, I can taste it. 🔥

Happy I came across this Caribbean spot! It’s hard to find one that offer vegan options let alone be completely plant based…and it was delicious and authentic! I tried the Jerk Bowl (not usually a fan of soy meats but the seasoning was the perfect blend of that smoky spicy jerk). The bowl same came with a generous serving of rice and peas, a fresh salad and plantain. I also got a chickpea patty which was a lot of potato and would rather try the collard green patty next time. The pastry was nice and flaky though, again it’s rare to find vegan patties so it was nice they had these on deck. Guyne was friendly and welcoming, after chatting I learned they have only been open a couple of years and hope they continue thriving like they deserve to ~ looking forward to visiting again and trying the other dishes when I’m on the east end!

Vital-Life makes exceptional vegan Caribbean meals. Great portion sizes for the price. I recommend the Jerk and BBQ meals. Great for quick takeout. Very friendly staff. Paid street parking is available on Broadview. Will return when I’m in the East end.

I was excited to see Vital Life Vegan at this past weekend's Veg Fest in TO. There had a long line as expected as I heard the food was excellent. The Caribbean-inspired vegan dishes are prepared with love and care and they use fresh and wholesome ingredients. The vegan soy protein and mac and cheese were delicious, well seasoned and full of flavor. The pumpkin and plantain were sweet and satisfying with generous portions. The staff are very friendly and are happy to explain the dishes and may let you try something if you ask nicely. Definitely try a homemade drink with your meal like the Hibiscus ginger drink. I highly recommend Vital Life Vegan to anyone looking for a satisfying, tasty and healthy vegan meal as the chef is very talented and creative. You will not be disappointed.

The food was delicious. We are visiting Niagara where vegan restaurants don’t seem to exist and the vegan options makes one want to cry. Toronto seems to have a gazillion vegan places even though it’s a 2 hour drive from Niagara but for good food, it is worth it. This place is a little hole in wall in what appears to be a type of chinatown. Looks just like a place you’d find in NY city so it felt like being back home. The only gripe is the bathroom which made me almost 🤮. The lady who took our order looked like she didn’t want to be there; was even wearing headphones while communicating. It was very strange. Great vegan Jamaican eats though.
